Treasure Chest Finds: Where, Who, What.? Can you guess?

The brass rose easel (highlight with mouse to read the rest) is actually a candle holder. The candle fits within the rose. I flipped it on it's side and made a stunning easel for artwork. If you guessed this easel as the re-purposed item, you are correct.
This gorgeous lamp (highlight with mouse to read the rest) was found on a curb near our home. It is handpainted, signed, and not a blemish to be found anywhere. Who could throw this away?!?! If you guessed this as the curbside find, ahem, I don't believe you. :)

The above wood easel (highlight with mouse to read the rest) was a garage sale find -under two dollars. It was handmade and appears to be quite old. I always imagine a young boy making it for his mom in wood shop.... See, I told you there was an inclination to romanticize pieces if we don't "know".

This lovely lace curtain (highlight with mouse to read the rest) was once my mother's. I'll always treasure it.

Devonia ~ I was cracking up when you were talking about the curbside stuff ~ I drive my family crazy when I make them put on the brakes suddenly for a wonderful treasure !

*laughing& There's so many interesting curbside treasure troves in our neighborhood that my car doesn't roll down the street - it hiccups, jumps and hops, Lori. And I'm not teasing about how often we/I wear out brakes either. But what if I hadn't stopped and had missed this gorgeous lamp?
