LOL Devonia !! You sound like me and my hubby !! Is he going to be in Canton this month ? I always ending up buying a treasure or two from him ~ xoxo, Lori
Hi Devonia, isn't this how it goes? LOL The lamp is gorgeous though and I hope it could be repaired. Cute post! Hope you are having a great weekend. hugs, Celestina la rea rose
Very funny, Devonia! Has a familiar feeling to it! LOL! Aren't great husbands wonderful, though? I don't know what I'd do without mine! And that we have gotten them to a point of even being aware of the fact that something could break because it's "not setting right"...how many husbands would even notice?! and not remind us of the time we did the same thing...broke a piece somewhere else after a similar conversation! Precious, aren't they?! Beautiful Day~
Devonia ~ Can you let your hubby know that I had to leave Canton before going back for my dish ~~ I am so sad but my daughter is moving into her townhouse earlier than we expected ~ Tell him to stick it out for sale and if it doesn't sell I will get it next month ~ Thank you !! Lori
Oh Devonia, I laughed so hard! Shoot, mine would never notice if something wasn't sitting right. I change things around all the time and he never notices. LOL
Hi Devonia, hope you are doing well. I just wanted to stop back to let you know that I am having a blog giveaway and would love for you to stop by and leave a comment if you have a moment. Blessings, Celestina la rea rose
Painting Realistic Roses: If you are looking for a book to help floral artists make the jump from one-stroke painting to a more realistic painting of a rose, look no further. By far the most comprehensive and influential has to be Roses and the Fine Art of China Painting by Sonie Ames. Sonie Ames mastered the art of sharing how to paint luscious roses as none of her contemporaries have since. This book is stuffed with breathtaking full color step-by-step instructions and examples. Search the eBay widget below to find one. This book is scarce: Recently, only one was found in a search by eBay on auction. However, for all artists who want to learn more about painting realistic garden roses- if you could only have ONE book, it should be Roses and the Fine Art of China Painting by Sonie Ames. It's well worth the wait and the search.
