Well, I cannot believe this. I tried to drop three pieces of this luggage off at Goodwill yesterday. They do NOT take luggage (complete with grumpy Vermont attitude).
Today we stopped at Bestowed which is a resale to benefit for the public Stowe school system. They wouldn't take it.
And, look! A young girl knows exactly what to do with this luggage and is so sweet. I MUST move back south. Y'all are just the best!

Just goes to show how a little creativity can go a long way! It just shows that great design can exist anywhere, as long as you use some creativity with it.
Hi Devonia, WOW such awesome creations on vintage luggage. What a talented gal. Hope you are doing well and enjoying the summer, minus our triple digits. Loved catching up on your blog. I have been very busy getting ready to open my new web shoppe soon. Have a great week and blessings always. Hugs, Celestina Marie
Often, I'm asked to recommend a book that would help floral artists make the jump from one-stroke painting to a more realistic painting of a rose. By far the most comprehensive and influential in helping me was Roses and the Fine Art of China Painting by Sonie Ames. Sonie Ames mastered the art of sharing how to paint luscious roses as none of her contemporaries since. This book is stuffed with breathtaking full color step-by-step instructions and examples. Search the eBay widget below to find one. This book is scarce: Recently, I found only one in a search by eBay on auction. However, for all artists who want to learn more about painting realistic garden roses- if you could only have ONE book, it should be Roses and the Fine Art of China Painting by Sonie Ames.
