When my son was a wee boy - he wrote a poem about how much he loved snails, tugging puppy dog tails and hunting dinosaur bones - that I, of course , saved and still treasure. For all of those who are still into wee pleasures, I'm sure these gingerbread bones. by a fellow crafter, Heidi Kenner, will be be a huge hit for Halloween treats.
Heidi's tricks for making these treats, that she calls Ginger Skeletons ( owls & skeletons) may be found here. There is lots more to be found at her site, My Paper Crane, that I enjoyed. Heidi is a talented lady with much to share. Thank, Heidi!
Still looking for the Snails & Puppy Dog Tails? Just keep your eye on the nearest little boy & check his pockets. In the meantime, I'm wondering if I could make these of melted chocolate? I mean, there's gingerbread and then there's chocolate....

Oh so cute!
awww' those are sweet!! I'm like you, can we do them in chocolate. Think I'll give it a try.

I love those! They look very tedious, and heck, if you're going to go to that much time and trouble, why not chocolate? LOL
I know these are supposed to be "spooky", but they're absolutely adorable!! Cute and Yummy! What a great combo.
